Meet dxxmsdxy

SEEDS was created by dxxmsdxy (pronounced "doomsday"), a pseudonym of one of the earliest artists in ordinals and crypto. The SEEDS artwork is part of their continuing exploration of protocol art.

dxxmsdxy has some interesting crypto credentials reaching all the way back to 2012, from launching their own chain, minting one of the very first NFTs, writing early crypto speculative fiction, founding one of the first "crypto" product labs, providing designs for projects across the space including pre-launch Ethereum, winning top prizes in numerous milestone hackathons for crypto including the first Ethereum and NFT hackathons, and having their work cited in the Senate and to regulators around the world in the early efforts to slow the premature regulation of crypto.

Outside of crypto, they are a voracious polymath—an artist, product designer, musician, tinkerer, and obsessive world-builder. The pseudonym dxxmsdxy is a vessel for intertwining their branching interests under a single identity.

With a passion for primitives and composability, their present efforts are focused on the intersection of AI, crypto, and collective creativity.

The SEEDS collection marks our transformative place in time, where the Old World is giving way to something new.

The work plants itself on that border, straddling past and future, insisting that the past is always present, and the future is in our hands.
